Maintaining your HLW Infrared Heater is essential for ensuring it continues to deliver powerful, efficient heating, whether in a commercial setting or outdoor environment. Over time, the infrared lamp may need replacing, and doing it properly is key to keeping your unit safe and effective.

Step-by-Step: How to Replace the Lamp for HLW Infrared Heaters:
Here’s a detailed breakdown of the replacement process, as demonstrated in the video. Before starting, unplug the heater and allow it to cool completely.
1. Disconnect from Power
Unplug the heater from the mains supply and wait until the unit has completely cooled.
2. Remove End Caps
Undo the two socket head screws at each end of the unit to take off both end caps.
3. Remove Guard and End Reflectors
Take off the front guard and carefully lift out the end reflectors.
4. Unclip the Lamp
Gently unclip the lamp from the spring clips on each end so it moves forward and clears the back reflector.
5. Remove the Reflector
Unclip and remove the rear reflector from the heater casing.
6. Disconnect the Lamp Wires
Access the electrical box at the rear of the heater and disconnect the lamp wires from their terminals.
7. Fit the New Lamp
Thread the new lamp’s wires through the holes into the electrical box and securely reconnect them to the terminals. Ensure the connections are tight and solid.
8. Reassemble Carefully
Reinstall all removed components in reverse order, ensuring the guard is properly fitted.
Important Warning: Failure to reassemble all components correctly—including the protective guard—will void the warranty and may compromise safety.
