By doping the quartz with the rare earth element neodymium, the yellow light is absorbed which has the effect of brightening reds and greens and increasing red-green contrast.

It is perfectly safe for operating with food, and keeps the food warm and also enhances its appearance. Butchers have been using similar methods for years!

For operation simply replace clear bulbs in standard catering fittings.
